PayAnArtist

is under construction as a service by Jon Reznick of Competitive Advantage Research. When fully launched, PayAnArtist will serve as a set of digital tools for seamless art merchandising experiences--experiences without middle-man "platforms", surveillance capitalism, or high app-store fees. Artists will plug in their own Stripe accounts, set up products and prices (in physical or downloadable merchandise, ticketed events, and subscriptions), and provide their audiences with well-customized payment opportunties using PayAnArtist.

PayAnArtist is currently in unbranded/stealth mode. I am building these tools for me and will extend them to others when I have built it all so thank you for considering a purchase here to support the launch in 2025!

Born in 1981, I first picked up a camera at age 5 and I later became a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in New York, NY. A few years after graduating, I established a "private client photography" practice in NYC. For over five years, I worked for subjects and hosts--not so much for editors and publishers. Promoting my work on social media and cultivating relationships of trust while evolving my "staged candid" style, my work was in demand by public figures, entertainers, and candidates for elected office around NY. I enjoyed the privilege of working private events featuring world leaders and globally famous individuals.

This is a pre-sale for an 8x10-inch hardcover book featuring the farewell sailing of the Seabourn Odyssey in September, 2024.

Keep a cherished memory of the final sailing of the Odyssey, from Seattle via Alaska to Japan, offered only to Seabourn Sailors. If you have been enjoying my photos, and feel some connection to the Odyssey or this voyage in particular, it would mean an awful lot to me if you supported this project.

This will be printed when the pre-sale is over. The exact date is not yet set but the book is likely to ship in early January, after the 2024 holiday season.

This is the most unusual photo I have ever taken anywhere in the world--a trio of seals on top of the world's largest iceberg, A23A, as seen in the Southern Ocean in February, 2024.

An elegant and shimmering 8x12-inch glass print, this piece is wall-ready with no frame needed. It will leave you with the mystery of how the seals got up there and whether they made it down okay--questions I still think about all the time! (Naturalists on hand when this photo was taken had no answers...)

This piece will be printed and shipped to you immediately. Please consider giving it as a gift to someone special!
